The nursery is monitored by its fully functioning CCTV security system provided by Nursery Cam, it observes all persons around and accessing the building. In addition we have Full Colour Video entry system. Another safety precaution of the nursery is to ensure each visitor signs the Visitor's Book when entering and exiting the building.

All electrical equipment and services, gas supplies, water systems, fire extinguishers and equipment are checked annually by independent experts

Fire risk assessments are reviewed each year and fire drills are carried out regularly

General risk assessments are reviewed annually and more frequently when required

Our gardens are safe with secure fencing around the perimeter

We have a rigorous safe recruitment program to ensure appropriate checks have been carried out for all new staff

Staff Mobile phones and personal cameras are not allowed in the nursery rooms

At all times at least one person who holds a Paediatric First Aid qualification is on duty and all staff, after their trial period, are offered the opportunity to gain this qualification

Medication is only administered according to strict guidelines

Children may only be collected by recognised adults - special arrangements can be made for other members of the family or friends to collect but only after prior discussion with the Nursery Manager.
